After going through the integration of ISO 9001:2008 and OHSAS 18001:2007 in late 2003, Spanners International was assessed and certified in January 2014 as meeting the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 by SGS United Kingdom Ltd Systems & Services Certification.
Also in 2014, Spanners International was awarded OHSAS 18001:2007 certification by SGS International Certification Services Singapore Pte Ltd.
In 2012, Spanners International was recognised as a 'Singapore SME 1000 Company - Emerging 2012' by the ranking body and publisher DP Information Group. Spanners International also claimed the award 'Established Brands 2012 (Winner)', in recognition of our branding accomplishments.

In recognition of our efforts and accomplishments in the areas of quality products and services, we were awarded ISO 9001-2000 certification.
On 22 January 1999, Spanners International Private Limited relocated. The Spanners Building is located at 6 Changi North Street 1, Singapore 498825.
In our endeavour to service our clients better, we invested aggressively in the development of our own premises at Changi North, Singapore. This new building would have a total floor area of 5,000 square metres, effectively enabling us to conduct all our businesses under one roof – greatly enhancing the levels of efficiency and quality control.
In December 1995 Yeo Kee Huat Aluminium and Hardware Pte Ltd was awarded the prestigious ISO 9002. Subsequently, Yeo Kee Huat Aluminium and Hardware Pte Ltd was renamed Spanners International Pte Ltd in early 1996.
After diversifying into ship repairs and mechanical engineering work in the 1970s, the Company was incorporated into Yeo Kee Huat Aluminium and Hardware Private Limited.
In the early 1980s, the Company started to focus on the manufacturing of electrical enclosures for the Public Utilities Board (PUB) of Singapore, thereafter becoming PUB's main supplier of OverGround Distribution Boxes and Sub-station Low Voltage Switchboards.
Spanners International was founded as Yeo Kee Huat Aluminium and Hardware Factory. Our key industry was in the manufacture of aluminium products.
